: This is an amazingly comprehensive and detailed look at lesson, unit, and year-long planning for primary and intermediate Science in French and English that incorporates the Core Competencies, Big Ideas, and First Peoples’ Principles of Learning.

: These are amazing tools for helping students understand sexual and gender identity and expression, and the beauty and value of diversity.
听“Ici on accueille les gens de toutes orientations sexuelles”: Email to DRC and ask to have it printed in colour and laminated. 听Then you can pass them out to other teachers at work!
Self-Assessment Sorting Activity for Core Competencies: Select the Core Competency you wish to have students self-assess/reflect on and then have them cut and paste the “I” statements (“les 茅nonc茅s au “je””) into the appropriate column.
Self-Assessment Sorting Activity Using Book Creator (epub file): Open in book creator on your iPad and adapt for whichever Core competency and range of “je” statements work best for you. 听The triangle in the middle is meant as a space where students can explain why they identify statements as an “effort” (something they have to work at still) or a “force” (something that is a strength for them). 听Students could paste photos or text into that triangle.
